This past weekend was our 5th (!) Annual Peek-A-Boo weekend! Now, you may be asking yourself, what the heck is Peek-A-Boo weekend? Let me enlighten you.

5 years ago, my mom, aunts, and cousins on my mom's side of the family {Olbrich Clan, what? what?!} got together at our townhouse for a fun weekend of holiday shopping. We went to the outlet mall in Williamsburg for a very long, but fun day. There were cocktails, shopping, dinners, and general good times. We had so much fun we decided that it should be a yearly event.

We have had friends join in the festivities, we have alternated hosting duties between myself and AJ in Des Moines, Minneapolis, and DC, and we have shopped. We don't cook, we drink adult beverages, and we laugh. A lot. We dance in our PJ's to good music, usually break out cheerleading moves {some are better than others} and giggle. A lot.

my mom can still do the splits, and I still cannot do a cartwheel.

From the "Mini-Peek-a-Boo" with Lori and Maggie joining us from California! They were in town, so we broke the rules and had 2 Peek-a-Boo's in one year. Well worth it!

Because this still makes me laugh
There is so much more to Peek-a-Boo, but we keep that secret. We Peek-a-Boo, do you?
